Default suzuki out boards..

yeah yeah i know, but i have really wanted to hear the numbers on a suzuki powered bass boat for quite some time..

i finally got to talk to a guy with a 200 suzuki on a REAL bass boat. he was in a javlin 20 footer. he said that he had a 225 rude on it then a 225 merc opti.. he claimed both blew up.

i asked what the differance was performance wise was with the suzuki 4 stroke compaired to the merc opti.. he said he lost 5 mph off the top end but with the 200 his gas milage more than doubled.. he also claimed to be wanting to "down size" with his next boat. i have been hearing this quite a bit..

the way i figure it 5 mph lost is basicly the differance between a 200 and a 225.. the dam thing was scarely quiet i heard his boat slap thru my wake before i heard that suzuki moter running..

the toss up is now for me personally yammer 4 stroke or suzuki 4 stroker.. lets face fact they are all going to be goin 4 stroke before to long..it is just a matter of time before the 2 stroke outboards are no longer made..

The SS looks killer! I love the pictures of the 'Team Blazer' boat with a 250 SS on it in all the fishing magazines. That blue and black looks killer! Also good to hear they run well.

Two words: Light; Fast.

I've heard you have to be really experienced with these boats before you begin to open 'em up.
