Keep crankin Steve, lol. Seriously, cranks are one of my favorite baits to use too, and I wouldn't venture out without at least a few. Which crankbaits are ya using anyways? Just curious.

Welcome to the bitter sweet world of crankin!! I love them, there are one of my go to baits.... but I do loose alittle more fish on them and loose a crank now and again, but I'm learning.

i throw them all the time. my prefured baits are bandits, normans, speed traps, and lucky craft even though i own nearly every kind.. one of those is always tied on.. speed traps and bandits catch nearly all of the shallow water bass i get.. the norman and lucky craft take care of the deep stuff..

I love crankbaits too. Probably what we catch the majority of our fish on. Bandit and rapalas are our favorites.

I can't even tell you the last time I threw a crankbait. I have a tackle box full of them, maybe I should replace the hooks and get them wet.

I go through phases. Sometimes I am big on cranks, other times plastics, and lately I have been loving the spinnerbaits. In fact, I am thinkin' of gettin myself a rod specifically for throwin' them.

hoytguy, give it time . . . sooner or later, you will like the plastics (and catch many fish on them too).
