i use an ugly stick lite that i think is uh...6-7 ft long? I use a small spinning reel and 6 lb test. I feel like im fishing with a fly rod because it's so sensitive i can feel a hit from a tiny bluegill or i can feel when the plastic reaches the bottom

I like a 7 ft. medium heavy rod and high speed baitcasting reel. I use 10-17 lb. mono.

I perfer a 6' to a 6 1/2' medium action sppinning rod with 10 or 8lb Cajun cast or Trilene sensor. For baitcasting I use a 6 1/2' medium heavy action rod with 12lb Cajun cast or 40 to 50lb Power Pro depending on the water clarity. I like using weightless rigs a lot so I use spinning setups a lot. But for tubes and lizards and things of that size I use baitcasting because I can pitch it a lot easier and not get backlashes...

It was up in Greene County which is a good ways north of here. It killed one person and knocked down a Steel Tower that my dad and his crew put up a few years ago. 2 crews were sent in to put it back up and repair it. They should be done by now though....

by the diameter. 50lb test is equivalent to 12lb test diameter. Just whatever size mono you use on a reel get the size power pro that has the same diameter. I use 30 lb test on spinning cause it has a 8lb test diameter. 20 equals 6 I think and 12lb is the same as 2lb test diameter I think. I dont know what it is that low cause I dont ever use it....

Depends on the bait. For weightless soft plastics I use a 6-8 m heavy action with 12 lb Flourocarbon, for worms a 6-6 MH action and for jigs a 6-10 heavy action, both with 50 lb PowerPro.
