Default Not a fantacy scenario

What would you throw in Feb over not in this meaning topwater water temp is 53F Yes its real took it today and its topped in a pond not ky lake.

Broke a record today with a feb frog fish just no size to it

Even here its unusual to have topped grass in feb,what would you use its real not fantacy took that pic today.

Frogs are the obvious choice because of the cover, another option would be the Yum Money Hound. If those did not work then I am going to a heavy jig on braided line and trying to pull em out of there.

Maybe try a floating worm or fluke. I'd use a Horny Toad. Congrats on the Feb frog fish.

I'd be thinking about pitching a 4 inch t-rigged creature bait into that, such as a beaver bait. I'd have a 3/8 tungstin weight pegged tight to the bait.

X2 on the creature bait; though I'd throw a Yum Wooly Hawgcraw Texas-rigged on a 4/0 EWG hook. I'd go with a lighter sinker than keithdog, maybe a 1/8 ounce and would not peg it.
