Default a quickie question

i am finally going to throw my croix premier MH-moderate 7', have a clackin rap on it, not sure of weight anyway it bend my rod a bit, well the weight pulls it down, will that be alright to throw. the rod hold up to a 1 oz not sure the weight, may be a 1/2. it is the silver black back, imatates a shad i suppose

ps. it dont weigh the rod down like a fish bend but about 1/2 inch pull down, if that makes since

IIRC, the Clackin' Rap weighs in at 7/8oz, or at least the original sized one. It's a heavy bait, nearing the high end of the rod's ratings. While the rod may not be the best for throwing it; it will work just fine.

7, i guess it is no biggie, i have smaller lipless , but the water is a little murky, and it makes great noise, the rod i have hopefully is a good all-around rod, i dont use many cranks to justify another rod for these tyeps.
