Default What time of day?

I'm fishing a small creek with some deep spots and hardly no vegetation, the temp is about 80-85. What time do you guys think would be best, early at dawn, or later at dusk?

Anytime you can get out there is the best. but of those two. I'd try both like WJ said.

If a stream is narrow, I would say that the morning bite is more dependant on the surrounding trees and when the sunlight hits the water.
I have a couple of them out here that are not worth a darn in the morning because they never really see the light of day. But come late morning when the rest of the water is getting full sun, those spots are on fire. Now my streams are only 10-15 foot wide.

Look for holes or places along the bank that have shade... If there is zero cover out in the creek, then when the sun is out, the deeper parts and the places where there is shade will be the places holding fish. Good luck to ya
