Ok, I need help!

No way, you are awsome. i don't know what to do about the line because I don't know what to do with the line I already have on it. do you guy's have a pole for every pound test line or something, i guess i will have to buy another pole.LOL

this is what i have

finnesse fishing (grubs, finnesse worms)- 4 pound test
senkos and other plastics- 6 pound test
caster for topwater- 12 pound test
flipping stick for jigs and frogs- 15 pound test.

when you want to change line, i just take off all the line on my spool. then put the new line on. i only use 3 rods and im fine.

Ironman, if this is like most central florida ponds I've fished, and it sounds like it is, fish some pumkinseed 6.5" worms texas rigged on a LIGHT bullet weright for about the next two or three weeks. Then, pull out mister spinnerbait, single colorado blade, and go catch a lunker.

These coldfronts are also definently have an effect on them, I would recommend what FL said along with a 7.5" red shad culprit worm pegged with a 1/8oz. weight. And also recommend a weightless red shad tiki stick, catches almost all of my fish!!

Spinnerbaits do not work over here i have tried every color in colorado blade and none work.

If you want to save the old line, just wrap it around the top of a 20 oz coke bottle and store it for when you need it.

That's b/c it's still summer Bass can be caught on a spinnerbit year round, but in a small florida pond, it's more of a fall to spring bait.

use that for topwater. im sending ya a spool of 10 pound test for plastics. and also to save line, take a drill, put an old pen in it, tie the line to it, and drill. make sure the spool is open. this is what i do.

what are you flipping and pitching too? im saying use 10 pound test if you fancasting towards structure underwater like dropoffs, points, etc.

then id stick with the braid. but for fancasting from shore, id say 10 pound test.

rino, I mean iron, fancasting is throwing a lure and bringing it back to you , then the next cast is like 5ft over to the right, then the next cast is 5 more ft to the right of the one prior, in this way you cover water faster and once you get bit you can concentrate in that area or more importantly that depth
If you can't get bites this time of year, spring for a 3 dollar rattletrap and go in to the farmers pond "cabbage patch pattern" ...ask veterens like pnj, reb, lizards, or tommy, and they will tell ya how each
fall the farmers throw that left over cabbage from the garden into the pond for the nitrogen nutriants...
many a smart angler knows a rattletrap over cabbage in ponds is killer!
this is the way I scored 10 just last night at the neighbors cattle pond.

Ok i will have to find a farm pond. but why would I be able to use 50lb braid for flipon and pitching but when i fan casting I need 10lb, how would just a different type casting need a lesser pound line?

you dont NEED 10 pound for fancasting. i suggested it cause i dont fancast near trees or anything that can fray my line. flipping and pitching is more like casting into the structure like trees. so fan casting for me is more like casting towards the structure but not in it. flipping and pitching is more like casting into it.

i dont think so. but i dont know. i dont use braid cause i dont need it. it will change hooksets tho.
