This mod can be done a similar way Robbie explained in this thread for about $5 to $7.

Post #33 and beyond explains the modification.

Or you can pay $15 and not do you own mods.

FNG........there were other buzzbaits one that site than just the one with the swimbait, i don't know if you seen them or not but really not bad looking baits.

No I didn't see them. I didn't start exploring the site too much when I saw the $15 tag on the buzz swimbait. They do look like nice lures but are a bit pricey for me.

Well you could go with those but you cannot tell me those are as lifelike as our swimbuzz there is no way that lure holds its own compared to this swimbuzz when you compare the ability to look REAL

Hey Mattmaddog, Those are some really good looking swimbaits.

Do you ever have trouble with your hook-ups with the six inch bait?

regardless of the swimbait i put a trailer hook on there. It rests on top of the bait and when a fish bites it, it works just like any other trailer hook. so the answer to your question is use a trailer hook and you wont have any problems.

Well there matt , id say when whizzed by a bass at a speed fast enough to keep the buzz on top of the water , the bass would not be able to tell a differance between the two.... just sayin' !!
