Default They were on Strike , I tell Ya!

Those ol bass up here in Ohio had lockjaw tonight!
We Carolina rigged and had plenty of gills peckin' on the plastics, but no mr largelips
We finally got one on the scum frog, had a few more blow ups
More or less sweated in 90 degree heat for 3 hours, but still was fun

the muck around the banks is drying and smells awful lol

Well glad you don't take your own advice about fishing in August LOL It has been tough, but it's still better than doing chores, or working I'm going out saturday to practice some c-rigging, and deepwater jiggin and working on getting a few cranks, weighted a little more to get down to some of them depth's I expect to be fishing in Lake Erie. I actually may not get to go to Erie. I have yet to be confirmed for the tourney. That's what happens when you don't sign up with a guaranteed boater. If I don't go this time hopefully I'll get to go 9/10. Already have paid both entries, and this would be the first time I haven't made it. Every tourney so far has had more boaters than non-boaters, maybe this is the exception Which would really suck, since I want to fish this water more than any of the others I have fished.

Hang in there, hopefully a boater will need a partner and you'll get a letter confirming you're IN...esp since you've prepaid

Well I just called to check, and I'm confirmed for the 8/20 toruney, but not yet for the 2 day toruney on 9/10. WOOHOO, man I'm looking forward to catching some smallies. Hopefully it will work out that way.
