Yep. There are alot of folks that couple the 2 together. This rod no fooling looks brand new. I don't think it even has a nick but then again neither does any of my other gear. No rust or tranish and the foam grips are not torn or damaged.

And whoever buys it is welcome to ship it back to me for a full refund if its not as nice as I say it is.

Just use PVC pipe, cut to the right length, with end caps. No need in buying boxes...

Yep, PVC works great. You can find it at most any hardware store where you live. You can go to your local plumbing company and most likely find used pipe that will work fine. You can also use cardboard tubes and these can be purchased (shipping tubes) or you can go to your local carpet dealer.
