They look nice. I think $11.25 is a little much for a spinnerbait, but they do look very good. Wish I had the patience and skill to turn out a product like those.

OK, Mr. Sandwich Man,

I'd like to order two in "Ham and Cheese"; Two in "Peanut Butter/Grape"; one "BLT", Reb wants two in "Anchovy/Banana", and Zooker wants five in "Nutria/Small Foreign Car" (Please drain gas tank, leave oil and antifreeze.), with extra mayo.
Can we get fries wit' dat

Hope your venture succeeds, but the comment re pricing is most valid. Even Terminator Tittyanium spinnerbaits cost less than you are asking. You would need endorsements from a "Pro Staff" made up of Kevin Van Dammit, *Jimmy "Heehee" Houston, Ike Wackonelli, Roland DeDice Martin, and God in order to sell 'em at your current price.
Nice baits, though...I'm saving up.

*But a fine specimen of Soonerus Oklahomus nonetheless.

Tech note: The main blade on the first example may be a little small. At that size, the "propwash" from the leading blade may interfere with the main blade's action. Also, in more turbid (See: Muddy) water, the main blade might be bigger for another reason...more "thump". Just a thought, and keep at it!

Thank you for your comments.I just started doing this sell thing,so lots to learn i guess.I'm glade you both like them,I put a lot of effort into the color of the skirts to make them stand out.
I all ready thought about changing the blade size on the next spinnerbaits I make.

Thanks,
Ed.

Nice product sammiwich guy, I've been making my own for over 15 years and know I have about 3.05 in each one, however to sell them to the more knowledgable angler, I'd start making a variety of combo's like a #4 willow witha colorado behind it....or make up a few indiana single blade spinnerbait in various sizes....the reason you ask? dif. times of year, migration and feeding habits and water clairity change in bass all year round..you need variety to match the needs of the fisherman.

fly farter..
i take it you have never built a spinner bait....

sandwich man
i looked at them not excatly my style of blade choice but i like your thinking.-that is saying a LOT!- fly farter probly don't realize that the area you fish has insanely clear water..as long as the blades are one size differant you need not worry about the "propwash" example a #00 up front an a #0 trailing..

and yes dammit i have had a "grinder"-it's a sandwich- in sandwich maine

Wrong again, Zookles!

I HAVE built/modified spinnerbaits but now limit myself to tank-testing (See: Swimming pool, nighttime, underwater lights, CLOSE observation as someone else casts and retrieves.) and modifying accordingly. With tandem blades of the same or near-same sizes , the turbulence and "dead space" created by the front blade WILL affect the rear blade. To what extent this occurs will be influenced by a number of factors such as distance between the blades on the shaft (spacer?) and the angle, from the horizontal, at which the shaft rides.
The GREATER the difference in size, the greater the spacing between the blades, AND the greater the angle if the shaft from horizontal, the more steady rotation in the rearmost blade. This is not conjecture. This is fact.

And, I DO appreciate insanely clear water...ever seen Amistad? (Travis, Canyon, Medina, or Boerne City Lake at certain times of the year can look like Martinis as well.)...No?...Well, imagine that!
Did I mention "Grinder"...nope. I like Hoagies, Heros, and Submarines too.

Next week, class, we'll explore the concept of "Lift" as it applies to blade shape and size, when "Slow Rolling A Spinnerbait".
