I use nail weighted worms allot. The concept is great, but the price is a little high for a bait that will get torn up after 2 or 3 fish.... well, for me anyways!

I got some hollow tubes from lowes , their brass. I cut them to a managable size and I just hollow out a spot in some of my worms , and then insert a split shot weight , same concept but can be adapted to any soft plastic , worms , swimbaits , lizards...

I have used the nail trick, it seems to give a stiff action to the worm, but I will try the split shot trick, thats a great idea. Thanks all
