ROTFLAMO, I would agree wholeheartedly. Hopefully I won't need them in the south, the 100 MPH suit anyway. The helmet and life jacket are still gonna need to be used though

Do you guys got big flocks of seagulls there ? You ever been a non boater and the person you were riding with flushed a whole flock of seagulls up ? Why is it the first thing they do is poop as they are taking flight ? I was splattered with the worst stinking poop I have ever smelled and the idiot who piloted the boat through the barrage of poop is up on the trolling motor complaining all day long about it. I told him as we get ready to run back that the seagulls had all day to refuel, so stay the he11 away from any flock of birds of any sort.I had a full faced helmet on so it could have been alot worst than it was. You think that's something? This couple came down to the outerbanks of North Carolina to lounge around and spend a week of their vacation. They did nothing but stay on the beach and enjoy the sun. They were laying on the beach looking up at the clouds when she ( his wife) noticed his mouth was gaped open. She tried to wake him to tell him that he must'nt sleep on his back with his mouth open. But about that time a bunch of seaguls took flight and began to spray the area with bird poop, and to her surprise the man took a mouth full. She got paniky and grabbed a towel to clean his mouth and was fussing at the gulls. He told her not to worry about it that it could've been alot worse. She ask him how could it have been worse? " He said, honey if I had not had my mouth open that bird would've pooped all over my face".

It seems like all the red winged blackbirds around here will poop on ya when they take off over the water, almost like they are aiming for ya...must be the way they get their "kicks"

Bassman, That means alot when being out on the lake whenever you get the chance to go.Its easier to fish warm & dry, rather than having your mind on being uncomfortable while trying to fish. P N J

Default warm & dry

Pig n Jig, you absolutely right about the weather taking it's toll. Seems like the wind kicks up alot when I go. The waves aren't so bad but the wind is, as well as the rain. When it's windy, rainy and cold the heavy rain clothes can make a big diffence.
