Females with eggs
I caught a bass in late December this year which had two small egg sacks. Do they normally start making eggs in December?
I live in South Mississippi, and we've had a mild winter. The water temp are in the 50's. Just wondering what some of you think. |

More than likely. The spawn usually starts in December in the deep South.

Were starting to see them down here too. Caught a smallish male with bloody fins yesterday. Starting to bed up. Its about to be on.
