Default plan of attack?

i am going to the lake sunday (stockton for anyone who knows missouri) and i was looking for some advice on where i should start. i expect the water temps to be somewhere in the mid 60's it has been up to around 70 but we have had a lot of rain recently. stockton is mainly gravel or chunk rock banks and has quite a bit if flooded timber ranging in depths from 3' to 30' deep. what would you guys do?

Find the migration routes from pre to post spawn staging areas. look for drop offs near spawning flats.

I'd fish a trap in rocky areas, and spinnerbaits in the timber.

i would also fish a trap and spinnerbait but it wouldnt matter where you throw either off them ( fish them at the rocks or timber they will produce fish)

One particular place I use to have good success at was after you put in go east under the bridge and it was the first or second big kick back on the north side of the lake. I always started at the mouth and worked my way in. Started out with cranks and when I finally got to the shallower water switched to spinners and jigs. Hope this helps a bit.
