night fishing tip
was out with my daughter fishing last nite..zook knows,i talked to him while we were fishing..she stayed with me till about 9 p.m. we got 3 bass in the weeds on worms.then the wife picked her up.i stayed till 11:30 or so.
fished this rock jetty in a fairly clear reservoir near me.(PB,the run).saw bass coming up hitting baitfish.but they wouldn't hit topwater.started throwing a senko..but,to get them to bite i had to hold my rod high and keep the bait near the surface and keep it in almost one spot shaking it.they would come up and hammer it..got 9 bass doing that.water temps were 83 degrees and almost full moon.dead calm on the side of the lake i was fishing.

How deep were ya fishing, i know close to surface, but about how far out and what depth did you see the activity first? Also offtopic but, were you there earlier than sunset, to see if the water clarity got any better? Latley it has been a heavy stain

Any suggestions on how to keep the gators away at night I decided to take the plunge tonight, just been too hot during the day Actually been home for a couple of days due to heat fatique I'm going, just wondering if there is anything I could do to keep the gators at a distance, without of course ruining the fishing. If not, just gonna bring the 12 ga just-in-case I don't consider myself anything close to a Steve Irwin(the crocodile hunter freak).

this is why I offer the option of a non salted senko (if the customer wants).
I fish a lot of senkos as psuedo jerk baits etc. Love this presentation. |

Yo - Lizards
I thought you were afraid of snakes, not the native Florida big lizard. I've only had one bass chomped off my line by a gator in plus 28 years of Florida bass fishing. And when did you relocate to our nation's oldest city???? I fished your city's marina dock for flounder 3 weeks ago with great success and NO gators. Hope you enjoy our Florida lifestyle.
