at wacky worm factory seconds are about $14 a 100 count bag.the 1st"s? are about $18 a bag.that's a good price.i always buy the seconds.not because they are cheaper but there is an art to choosing the right red shad worm.in the seconds bag you get some that are normal red shad, some are almost black with just a little red in them, some are mostly red with a little black in them.i separate them by color and keep them in a 3700 box.
zook,send me the link,thanks.

Hula- July 31? That sucks hard. We go back August 14 and it still sucks. Tom- Definitely agree. What's your favorite color frog?

Oh boy....... Cranky- the red shad power worm works as well for Tom as say, the Wh*z Ba*g works for JB, PnJ and Zook.

ooh... well in that case if it works for Tom, and he lives in NJ as well, it should work for me. i was wondering why i never heard of it often... looks more like a real worm than green pumkin or pumkinseed

i already have a bagfull of em. ill make sure to give em a try today. the berekly 4" powerworm in red shad. what time between 3 and 7 or 8 would you say they work best? i was saving the 7-8 time for the topwaters, and i was going to be fishign jerkabtis from 3-6 with maybe a spinnerbait in there

you think so? i found another guy on BDO who said jerkbaits work well here... ok sure then. i think ill use this lure at 3 and 4. still going topwater at 7, i promised myself that topwaters would be my focus this year. so heres my line up- red shad powerworm from 3 to 4, original rapala at 5, and a spinnerbait at 6. after that its topwaters. god there are so many techniqeus i want to use today... suspending jerkbaits, deadsticking, wacky. whatever, i really think im going to catch something today. incoming storm too...
wish me luck... and now that i got a digital camera i can get pics

use them only between 3:48 a.m. and 4:16 a.m.any other time they'll be useless for you.

lol @ tom....cranky how about you get there, check out the conditions and then pick what you're going to fish. Take jb's advice and use the worm all day. If they are jumping then maybe switch to a topwater.

It that Eastern Time or Greenwich Mean Time? Also is that just the t-rigged time or can I try to Carolina rig during that time?
