Default FS: Four St. Croix Mojo Bass Rods

I have four Mojo Bass rods for sale. All four were purchased in March and are in excellent condition, with a little discolorization on the cork. The rods are $85 ea., shipped. I'll ship in a heavy duty carboard or PVC tube.

Mojo Topwater: 6'8" M XF 8-14 lb. 1/4-5/8 oz. This is an ideal rod for poppers and walk-the-dog type baits. Also a fine choice for tubes, grubs and unweighted soft plastics.

Mojo Spinnerbait: 7' MH F 6-12 lb. 3/16-5/8 oz.
A perfect rod for searching open water with big spinnerbaits for active fish. It’s also ideal for jigs, worms and working heavy cover.

Mojo Slop-N-Frog: 7' H F 14-25 lb. 3/8-1 1/2 oz.
This is “the rod” for fishing slop and lily pads with frogs and rats. Designed to efficiently cast light frogs and pull bass from the thickest cover.

Mojo Tubes/Grubs: 7' M F 6-12 lb. 3/16-5/8 oz.
This very popular spinning rod provides extreme versatility and is ideal for fishing tubes and grubs.

Thank you for looking...

I really hate coming on here and busting someone's balls, but are you serious?

You're offering used rods for the price of new?

I'm with Bryce (nofearengineer), your prices are way too expensive. I think $75 or $80 shipped is about all you'll get a piece.

Gentlemen, thank you for your feedback.

Bryce, you are not busting my ball's, only giving your opinion. If you can get the Mojo rods new for $80, your doing good.

Anyway, I value your opinions as this is the first time I tried to sell fishing equipment.

Thank you,
-Don

I can't get them new for $80 but with 10-minutes or less on eBay I could find them for $80 USED, like your is.

Stykbowslim - sell them for what you need out of them. $85 shipped sounds very reasonable to me for barely used rods. Heck, shipping is 12-15 bucks by itself!

Here's a bump for you!

Thank you for the bump Cam...

As far as shipping expenses go, I'm shipping a Powell rod from NJ to CA, and it was $56, Priority Mail or $26 and change, for standard shipping... not counting the $10 for the PVC tube.

Stykbowslim,

I don't have a problem with your pricing....you are free to sell them for whatever price you can get. However, I saw your original price which was, including shipping, equal to what a new Mojo runs. You shouldn't try to mislead people by editing your original post to try to cover up overpricing. Just be honest about it man and admit you had them overpriced originally. Good luck selling them.

Tim,

I was not trying to mislead anyone by editing my original post, nor was I trying cover up overpricing. I thought my original price of $80, plus $20 shipping was fair. After listening to others on this site, I reconsidered my price to the current price structure.

Regards,
-Don
