Just remember the two happiest days of boat ownership:

1. Buying one
2. Selling it.

Know this will be hard but do yourself a favor dont show up early,it has to be dealer prepped, and difficult to do complete with a customer waiting. It is some thing you or the bank paid big bucks for, should not be hurried,go but stop and have early lunch, thenmosey on over then take your time and check everything off thats on the order list-everything.
Does it also come with shipping cover ,many dealers attempt to keep that, know they were paid to check but you also check, oil res full,if so what kind of oil,if not why is it empty its been paid for.Not something you should sign for and hurry out the door, even if they want you to.Double oil?Rpms during breakin period?Warrenty issues?
Once you use it they are reluctant to replace it even if its the wrong thing, years ago like no tilt n trim on outboard, yeah go ahead an use it we will replace it year later still hearing that,if its wrong dont sign for it and take it home.

Excellent Advice LilMule, but, I didn't follow that advice, hehe. Everything turned out ok though. This is how it went down.

Wednesday night was a very sleepless night to say the least. From 3am on there were zero. There was however thoughts and thoughts and ideas and you name it going through my head!

6:45am - I'm on the road! Driving the two hours.
8:45am - I arrive at Bass Pro Shop, Macon Georgia and low and behold, they've got my boat right there in the shop and already detailing it!!! So I walk over and tell them I'm here, but I'm just going to Shop at BPS while they do their thing. They told me that they didn't screw down the Hot Foot until I sat in it and told them the comfortable spot. So that was one plus to showing up early!

11:00 - At this point and time, I've signed all of my paperwork and purchased what felt like the entire Bass Pro Shop out of Tackle. IF any of you have stocks in BPS, you got a little boost yesterday, hehe

By the time it was all said and done, because I have some Wiring harness issues, I finally got out of there right on the nose of 12:00 and I checked this morning and sure enough, it's still outside, so this wasn't a Dream!!!!

@ Wally - That is correct, but unfortunately the Gift Card is sent from HQ which takes about 3 weeks to get.

ON that same note, what is pretty cool or maybe they messed up. You also get a VIP Card which gives you 20% off on all Bass Pro Shop products and yesterday when I checked out the cashier said, oh, you're Military? and gave me an additional 10% off. So my Purchase had a 30% Discount, That was HUGE!
