Default Sad Day....

Well, my mom finally won. We just sold our old tin can deathtrap today. She was nothin' special, but we had some good trips with her, and I'll miss looking out the window and seeing that old, flaky, mismatched hull. We ought to be getting something new in the next couple months....

Oh, I'm not mad at all. She's probably right, the last few trips got hairy, what with leaks and the trailer being shot. By new, I don't mean new, I mean new to us....

Really. Stop by round July/August, and try to fish, work, play sports, or do anything other than sit on the couch with a cold drink and the blinds shut.

Trust me, I have been there in the heat of the summer. Texas is pretty hot too, and I lived there for a while.

Paint the boat, and use it for a flower garden/potting area. You get to keep the boat, and your mom gets a nice flowering area too.

I probably have never experienced like the heat/humidity in Florida, and you are right, you live there I dont, It's just I think, that I could make it through the summer. Maybe not though. One thing I know is there is better fishing, and more fishing there than where I live. I hate Va, and want to move desperately.

Texas has all kinds of redfishing, bassin, trout fishing, everything a person could want!

I like freshwater trout fishing, but if you've ever caught a speckled trout, you'll be hooked on inshore fishing. I've been with a mediocre guide in Laguna Madre, and caught a couple of decent sized trout, and an okay red.... That is one of the main reasons I wanna live in Tx, also b/c of lake frok, and lake palestine.
