My main lake is Monticello, but I have been trying to get a buddy of mine to go to Milwood for about a year now. If im after numbers i river fish. Im a long time reader, hardly any posts. Im like that big bass, you know im here, lurking , somewhere, and every once in a while ill bite.

Hi, I am a new member, my name is Ron I am from Northern Virginia and have been bass fishing for about a year. I have done pretty well my first year, I caught two LMBs over 5lbs and many over 3lbs. I look forward to chatting with you folks and learning from you. Hopefully I can provide some help to other members as well. I have a bass boat and fish the Potomac River a lot and many different lakes and ponds.

Hey everybody. I'm Andy from Lansing, MI, your typical middle-aged single dad. Been fishing my whole life but just recently found it again (golf was getting to expensive!). So now I have 5 new rods from BPS and a couple of old ones and now I'm ready for the ice to go away. So if I ask any stupid questions, just give me a dumb answer!!

Okay, how do I put a personal picture up as my avatar?

Go to the options bar at the top of the page. Click on user CP and that will take you to a new page. Go to the settings and options section and click on edit avitar. That will take you to the page for changing and downloading your new avitar/picture.

Hey Whup, I rode in a bicycle race from Pine Mountain to Hamilton about thirty years ago. I'm in Tuscaloosa and have been fishing a six acre pond in my backyard for three years. I haven't caught anything over six pounds yet but I think there are some hawgs in there. I've gotten a lot of sound advice at this site. Good luck

Started fishing at age 5 with my dad who hates fishing but took me because I bugged him. Grew up on the middle fork of the Kentucky River and one day when I was 8 or 9 he said "son you know what to do now go at it" and I've been fishing ever since. In my early 20's I fished about 200 days a year. Now with a wife of 6 years (great woman by the way) a 2 year old girl and a 14 day old son I'm lucky to get in 30. But I wouldn't trade the family for all the fishing in the world. I mostly fish tourneys now. 32 by the way now. I fish mostly Cave Run Lake, but my User name Barkelypup if from a Bassett I used to have named after Lake Barkely. and by the way Bamabassman, Round here we say GO BIG BLUE!!!

We got some dawgs up in here!!!

Whup, there are two Pine Mountain, GA., one in Harris county and the other in Rabun County up in the NE corner. Which one are you living in? I can identify with that dadburned Bait Monkey, he's one persistent little feller!

Bamabassman, I will be coming over to Weiss, probably on Sunday to start figuring my way around. We have a club tournament the first Sunday in March out of the Riverside Camp Ground, and I have never even seen the lake. Any tips?

The Ven, here... love small ponds and lakes. Since I'm foolish enough to be a school teacher, I am rewarded from mid-June through early September the luxury of going fishing every day. What a life! Never get tired of it.
