Default Need new propeller

I need a new prop for my 2013 20 hp 4 stroke Merc. Right now my boat will only do 7 mph gps. I have a 2013 tracker TXW. The propeller I now have is a 9 1/4 inch and 8 pitch. Would a different pitch or a stainless prop give me a few more mph?

With that.size.motor . I don't think stainless prop will improve your speed that much it would be worth the cost of prop. You may want to.see if you can get dealer to let you try a couple with different pitch

Ok just going to replace with same size prop. New question-can I increase the size of the carb for more hp? I really cannot afford a new motor. Just was wondering how much a carb increase would cost installed.
