Default My New Ride

I owe my buddy Clint a BIG thank you for finding this bad boy on Craigslist last week. Worked out the deal with the previous owner and picked her up this afternoon. It's a 21' Champion, minus the motor, but it just so happens we have a 200hp Johnson V6 sitting unused at the time.......

Should take about 3-4 weeks to have it on the water......

The Nitro will be put up for sale as soon as the Champion is ready to get wet. I can't wait!!!

Congrats on your choice of boats. That Champ will handle anything out there as far as waves. Twin tanks will make your runs interesting..

I have fished the Great Lakes in 5-6 foot seas in a Champ.

A very good rough water boat.

Mike hit it on the head. Prolly the best rough water boat out there. The 200 will make her situp and run right with correct setup. Those champs like 4 blades and will run and turn like she is on rails with a 4 blade. The Renegade is the prop I am talking bout. The 200 should spin a 24 maybe a 25 and will make ya have a chit eatin grin.
