Default Do FISH SMELL?

Recently I read an article in an old Field & Stream that compared a dog's snout to a largemouth bass. It was concluded by a biologist that most species of fish including Bass are 700times more sensitive to smells than most dogs, especially when it comes to toxins. I also found this article, mostly about salmon but I'm sure it's relatively the same for Bass, except bass don't die after they spawn.

To answer the original question, yes they do. Hence all the scents out there. Do they make a difference? It comes down to confidence. If you think they make a difference, they do.
