Default NEW Abu garcia Varitas rods!

Looky hear what tackle tour found! Abu Garcia's new rod.. it's still in the [FONT=Verdana]prototype stage and still get a few tweaks regarding the guides and probably a few other things. Otherwise it looks really nice. Ike WILL be using them in the classic! What am I blabbing about.. you can read it your self!

I think you guys are gonna like the price too!

My first impression was, "ew, a white rod?"

The black guide wraps do look nice with the rod, and I think the white could grow in me. I wonder if they've really managed to make a rod with the balance point right at the reel seat.

I'm interesting in seeing what Ike's come up with for a reel to match the rod... I'm picturing something like the SKT Revo with white instead of yellow, but who knows. It'd even the other way: white sideplates with a black frame.

Looks kinda tacky to me but the fish don't care what it looks like. Wouldn't mind giving it a try.

Ya, I sure the white blank will ward off some customers, but I think it looks pretty nice. And the feeling is mutual as far a wanting to see the reel they make for it!

Might look good on one of these too!

Looks like a custom painted Pixy. Unless it's the silver one in a weird light cause it does look white.

Man...I see white, and I think Ugly Stik. Just a habit thing, I guess. They sound like they're gong to be a nice rod. I would be excited to finally see someone pay attention to rod balance like they mentioned. I always laugh when I hear people talk about even high-end rods as being "perfectly balanced." Then I pick one up, and it balances 4 or 5 inches in front of the reel seat....

I like it. When they hit the market I could very well be switching all my rods over. I especially like the look of the split reel seat. I just hope that in all the tweaking they do not decide they need to up the price any.

Good looking rod to me. I'm real close to buying two Vendetta spinning rods. Wish these new ones were out already.

Think I'll wait till the tackle expo at the Classic. May get a good deal on something.

You can buy them at of all things a swimming pool supply store for $50.99 with $11.00 shipping, anywhere else $79.00 to $89.00. google Aqua Superstore. and put in fishing in search engine then you will come to another search engine to refine your search. This is the vendetta rod. How I found it I don't know.

Reminds me of Dodgeball.
"You must be Daddy"
I really don't like the white scheme of the rod. Could grow on me, I suppose, but it just looks cheap.

Its weird, but when I was looking for Risto Raps a few months back, I ended up finding all that I needed on a website that otherwise sells only silverware.

WOW!!!

That's amazing, Frogman, good find! I just may have to get a vengeance from there rather than a Teirra!

Thanks for the heads up, I ordered a 7.0ft Med. last night. The cost was 66.00 w/ shipping, including a 3.95 charge for it being 7ft. This is the second Vendetta Rod that I have recently bought, you should pick one up and give it a try, good rod for the money. Plan on matching this one with my Revo SX
