Default Lew's Speed Spool Model BB1-LE

Can anyone tell me what ratio this reel is? I have searched everywhere I can think of and have yet to find anything telling what the ratio is. Thanks.

I think it's 4.7 to 1, I'm pretty sure. But not positive.

yup 4.7:1 and they did make a 3.8:1 BB1 LE as well. The 4.7:1 is the preferred ratio, but both were good reels.P N J

I've been using Speed Spools since 1978 and the retrieve is 4;3 ; although you can "power up" to 4.7. the BB L is a light weight version of the BB1N same line capacity and all just in a more "palmable" package. the Lew Childre is the best reel I ever used. I fish crankbaits 99% of the time.
