Lizards,
"non fishing related"? I guess that's subjective. But if you want me to move it I will. HMMM would I have gotten the responses down there though?
IM I know you've been around for awhile, even though you just recently joined. Ther was a big stink about posting crap(not like this, but real crap) So we begged Kevin to put up a NON fishing related board, and he did. I personally read every post no matter where it's at , sometimes I wish I didn't. Anyway, the funny part about it was that lots of the folks who were complaining badly, are lots of the ones posting all kinds of stuff on non-fishing related topics. Personally I like the idea of the seperate board, and it does make sense. I don't care if you move it, I doubt you can, Kevin will have to if I'm not mistaken, that is if he chooses to. Yes it is somewhat subjective, since you mentioned fishing jobs on the last part, so I'll concede and say OK. But IMO realistically it's about folks jobs, which isn't fishing related. Just my opinion of course. I have no problem with the post or the question personally, I even answered it now didn't I ;D

Tackletester,

Just wondering where you go to school? I graduated from PIKE and graduated in the early 80's. Yeah I know I'm an old fart compared to you. Anyway soccer was just starting. As I recall we were one of the better soccer teams( I never played, it was baseball, football, and basketball for me). Are you trying to get into IU, which has to be one of the greatest soccer colleges of all time in the USA.

I have never fished a tourny but have fished for bass for almost 20 years now.

I am a break-dance instructor at the local old folks home during the daytime and play piano in a house of ill repute at night. This gives me a chance to fish between 2:00 AM & 7:00 AM

Hey Hula, I am a capitalist. What happened to that great proletariat revolution that would eventually abolish government?

Fishing Dude, you work for a record company in Memphis? Blues?

herb
let's see um almost no ice up-we got very little this winter- what we got was gone by 11 am. some of the finest assets in the area are found lying on docks from april till october.-need i draw you a picture ?-we get some snow -ohh bout 7"-a year. but itmelts the same day. and with out a dout the best thing i like about the south -besides biscuts and gravy- the big old bass. i live in ny for 20 years biggest bass i ever caught was about 5 pounds. moved here consitantly catch 7+ pounder every year.

Head baker and pastry chef at a bakery. I also play semi-pro football on the side, so sunday is my only day to go fishing.

I spend my nights as a police officer, my days caring for a newborn, and sometimes, when everything works out just right, I get to fish. I think my boat is jealous of the kid.

I'm a manufacturing supervisor in a factory. We specialize in magnetics. Make alot of copier parts (xerox, ibm, heidelberg) as well as stuff for the automotive industry and magnetic pump drive systems. I have never been paid for fishing, although if I could figure out how, the first part of this post would no longer be accurate. Just bought my first "real boat" (have been using a jon boat and trolling motor) this week. I hope to do a few small local tourny's this year and see how I "stack up" with others in the area. If all goes well, I may fish a few bigger touney's next year. Now if the ice would only go off the water......

Hey Raiders4life, I second that notion. I'm an elementary special education teacher and my principal fishing tournies as well. Can't beat that situation. My tournies and unofficial start to season/summer is May 5th small tourney. Good warmup to my federation event that weekend (May 7th). Have you started counting down the school days yet?
