Default Clear water fishing

Alright I could do a search, but I like starting new threads. And plus I value everyone's opinion. I am going to fish: http://www.mdwfp.com/level2/Fisheries/pdf/maps/210.pdf or

These lakes are renowned for being super clear. My buddy told me there were slick spots all over the place about a week and a half ago, but I figured the cold temps probably pushed them back on the ledges or down the slopes. We have got some mid 50 nights and low-mid 70 degree days coming up and I was hoping to hit it Thursday or Friday. These 2 places have skunked me several times, and I was just wondered how some of ya'll would go at it. I am thinking a drop shot and shakey head. I know I will throw a lizard, too the shallows if I find them on the bed. But it is hard for me to stand and spot and be careful in my little boat. I have a narrow 12' that will chunk you quicker that you can say Ambesol if you ain't careful. So what you think?
