I thought the same thing for a second, too, then checked it out. I don't think Lisa will have to worry about ending up looking like Hulk Hogan any time soon. |

Good to know everyone is doing OK.We'll keep praying for them. The doctors will keep a
close watch on her creatinine level form now on probably. That tells them how the kidney is functioning and filtering waste from her body.Once they get her meds adjusted the 1.5 should come down.It may take a little while but I pray that it will all be ok.I think normal levels are from .2 to one.Mississippi have John e-mail me if he needs to.

Latest update:
Had a little scare today. Lisa's on Heparin (blood thinner), and apparently they haven't gotten it adjusted quite right. She started bleeding around the new kidney to the point where they had to open her up again and get it stopped. John hasn't seen her yet, but he said the doctor came out of the operating room with a smile on his face. He says they got all the clots cleaned up and the little bleeders taken care of. They'll take her off the Heparin and put her on something else so this won't happen again. She's on schedule to go to one of the townhouses this weekend sometime. Hopefully, this isn't going to be a recurring thing. The doctor didn't seem to think it is, so everybody's hopeful. That is all. Carry on. |

Sounds like they're doing a good job of looking after her. I'll keep the prayers flowing for them. This sort of thing always has a few bumps, so she'll be ok.

Daniel, I got the PMs and just now got a little time! Been busier than a one armed paper hanger in a Kansas tornado! I just spoke to John a few moments ago and he caught me up on everything that has been happening and told me about this thread. God Bless Lisa!
She is indeed one tough little heifer! It sounds like things are finally settling down and she will be going to the townhouse for a couple of weeks, then on to the house the Good Lord willing!

So is she going home now and her mom is coming to stay with her, or is she going to her mom's house then home? |

thanks gang. yes mb she is at her moms house for a couple of weeks. coming "home" this weekend ( ia m guessing to make sure the house ain't falling down, lmao. yes.... i DID vacum, dust, mop and all of that stuff (merry maids, hehe). but i can't be with her all day (work), so she has to stay folks for a while yet. and yes i think it IS earlier than expected. so she is on the track to feeling like she should. we were told that she would be at the townhouse for at least a month. but she checked out great. so she is home...well sorta, hahahaha.
