Default Skeet Reese Tow Vehicle.

have you guys seen his truck?! This thing is one BadA$$ beast. It's a custom built Lucky Craft F-650. It makes his boat look small.

Check out this video.

How obscene. That vid actually pisses me off a little. I'm not jealous, I think the guy is driving a waste of resources. All that money thrown into something and it wont accomplish the job better than a stock f250 and most likely it will be a worse tow vehicle.

That said, its people's right to waste money like jackasses.

Exactly what I though.

And what about the storage compartments on the trailer? what happens to them when they launch the boat?

That is to much truck for me; I wouldn't want all that attention.

My 1/2 ton Chevy is a Working Man's truck.

Random musings towards the end of my shift;

I just look at it from a utilitarian perspective.

This is a question that should cut to the soul of every man in America.

When speaking of machinery, is more power really always better?

Or should a tool (be it a truck, a boat, a reel, a drill or a baseball glove) be designed for the maximum efficiency in performing its' designated task?

I think efficiency should be the goal. In fact I would argue that efficiency can be seen as a substitute definition for what is "powerful". When you need to remove the front shocks on your truck, and you are trying to get the top stud nut off - its a tight fit - which breaker bar is more powerful? The 1' bar, or the 3' bar? I think the 3' is pretty weak and feeble if you consider it wont even fit inside the wheel well.

There are many ramps that truck would not be able to squeeze down to even launch the boat.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Another subject, since its a pet peeve of mine. You know those pictures of 21 and 20 pound 19" bass coming out of California trout reservoirs? Yea, I think they are perverted and grotesque. Its like seeing a girl who weighs 400 pounds. Even if you can tell she would have had a pretty face if she were in shape, she weights 400 pounds and hurts the eyes and the gut to look at. Its not natural, it is indicative of something going haywire with the right balance of things. Same thing for a bass, which ideally should be muscular and athletic. Those obese bass would all die in days if they werent subsidized (yes thats the right word) with free high protein food. I don't care to catch bass that live on food stamps.

I believe in a fishing meritocracy. Lets not award reverence to fish merely on size, but worth; I would value a 6 pounder with an explosive fighting attitude more than a lazy 9 pounder that rolled over and floated in taking advantage of C&R any day. Sure, maybe I would be the only one that would appreciate the superiority of the more active smaller fish, maybe everyone else would just see the pictures and assume that the 9 pounder was the more desireable catch - but I dont fish for braggin rights, I dont do this for yall, I fish for myself.

okkkkk first things first that limo is cool .... 2nd thing is that thingks should be efficent... but i would like to catch a 20 pound bass in california .... they just give those bass trout that make them huge.... i have no issues with that ..... but yeah a 10 pound bass is a lot less regular(in Sotuh Carolina) than an 18 pound bass in california ..... i have no idea how our record is 16 pounds ..... one was out of a lake like 60 years ago and another was a stocked pond 16 years ago

spot on man , sometimes more power in any machine leads to a shorter life span . Which in turn leads to the consumer having to spend more money replacing tools that should have lasted longer .

on the big old lazy bass thing , I wouldn't throw one back without taking a couple pictures just for a memory but I would prefer a good fight over a big fish that rolled .

Does that truck have a hottub in the back? I have seen a few around this area with that "option"

I agree with you WTL, but maybe i am bias because i am from SC where the bigg bass around here is in the range of 8-16 but mainly 8-12....But i am going to be fishing in a place this year alot that its average is 7 pounds and there have been catches up to 14....so I smell a new SC state record coming....I have only been there twice and me and my fishing buddy have caught about 8 ranging from 1-8 pounds....This will be the first time during spring and summer...we fished the last 2 saturdays of fall last year...It is a lake that only 4 boats are allowed out there and you have to take thier john boats...and its first come first serve...
