Default new worm rig

A couple of days ago, I found a new pond, and tried out a new worm style, that is like a shakey head, but, you drag it across the bottom, and use half of a worm, instead of a whole one. It work great with these colore in muddy water, but I can't find these worms anywhere now, as I bought them 3-4 years ago. Here is my favorite version of this rig:

Looks like a minnow you'd get in a pack of jelly worms. You can dropshot that same rig in the winter for suspenders.

Yeah you can, but where I'm fishing right now, the deepest it gets is like 4-5 feet, so If there are bass in the pond, they'll find this lure. You can also add rattles, and sometimes I use the spike it garlic, if they're not liking the powerbait scent.

So what exactly makes that different from a shakey head other than presentation?

A shakey head rig is rigging a worm on a jighead but rigging it like a T-rig. No exposed hook. It is fished by shaking the rig once it is on the bottom, hence the name shakey head .

I know, and imo this is nothing like that, and I shouldn't have even mentioned it in my post! But that rig, gets results, for both me and my dad. It don't always hurt to try something different!
