Default Hello and Thanks!

Hey guys,
I've been hanging around the forum for awhile, reading and reading when things are slow at work, and I figured I might as well jump in and say hi and maybe even contribute when I can. So howdy do from SW Kansas! Just want to say thanks to all of you for all your good info. I feel like I've learned more in the last few months just reading your guys' knowledge than I have in the last few years. Just need it to be spring now so I can put it all to use. You all seem like a great group of guys, and I look foward to getting to know you and chatting with you guys. Thanks, take care, and you all have a good holiday season.

Jesse

Welcome aboard Jesse. Glad you decided to join and I look foreward to seeing your input. Feel free to jump right in and contribute. Like Bama said, we all "good" nutjobs, lol. And we have a couple engineers who are good contributers if you can understand their techie mojo. haha

Welcome..from Potomac River MD. JJ is it true that people from SW Kansas do not trust people from SE Kansas? Or is it NE?

Cap'n Mike, there's suspicion and distrust running wild in the state of KS. It's a classic case of the haves vs. the have-nots. Those with trees and water in the east vs. us without in the west. At least that's how I view it, but I've got fishing on my brain! I think most people from eastern or even central KS think once you hit the western half of the state you drop off the edge of the earth and become lost in a barren wasteland.

Not all of us Eastern Kansans feel that way Jesse, I personally love the whole state. My buddy that lives in Satanta says he lives in the middle of some real good fishing, 4 hours in any directon and he's into some real good fishing.

Welcome to the board from another Kansas boy. There are some lakes out west I'd love to have in Eastern Kansas but there are some here that I'd hate to leave behind! Nice this is almost no matter where you go in the state there are ponds somewhere close by with good fishing in them!
