Default Spark Plugs

OK I have always owned a bass boat with a Johnson engine. Need to say I wasn't looking for another boat but I got a good deal on a 1998 procraft 200 and it has a 200hp mercury on it. So now I have two boats as of now lol. But my question is what brand of spark plugs should I use in it.. And one more question does anyone have a tilt & trim rocker switch that mounts on the front that they would sell. I will try and upload a picture of it in a little bit.
Thanks Earl

Hes right merc dealer so many plugs are not the same depth once seated, can ruin an engine in a heart beat if to long.As for the mercury switch try a boat bone yard or ebay about 50 bucks then one has to add the wiring between the switch and current tilt trim switch on motor or said wiring .Does not come with a wiring harness.
Many boats older just use a toggle switch and some a relay is needed.
Much simplier if you just have your mechanic add it while its in for a tuneup.
Some boats like some motors have them already and not always a toggle switch, can be rocker arm.

Sorry, I don't have a Mercury, but thought that I would comment. I use NGK in my Yamaha.

NGK used to stand for "No Good Kind" when I first got into wrenching on motorcycles and outboards professionally. They are now one of the best plugs on the market. I strongly recommend them for any application. The cross-reference charts are good, and you can get the correct plug for your engine.

The last time I was in West Marine ... they had replacement switches of all kinds. You should look at their online catalog.

Ah yes, the NGK "Foul-o-matics". Never had any luck with them in anything, and none of you could run fast enough to give me a truck full of them. The last time I was at my local boat shop I asked the mechanic about plugs for my '96 Evinrude Intruder. He said Champion was the plug the factory intended to be used and it had the correct voltage.
