Rapala XTREME ACTION SLASHBAIT XRAP!!!!!!

According to the box, this new rapala jerkbait is really extreme and all that stuff, but it looks like a regular jerkbait. Has anybody else tried it? Is this just another example of marketing fluff and me getting taken by the bait monkey, or is this lure really different from every other jerkbait on the market?

Its action is quite a bit different from others. It has an action a lot like a superfluke.

It is a good lure, but of course the marketing is there to sell it. I would recommend them, but don't expect it to replace every jerkbait you have. Its just like ever other bait, it has a time and place that it will shine.

Translation: this jerkbait darts a little more than our others.

I haven't seen them, but for my money, Rapala puts out good products and I doubt that this would be an exception.

Also besides a quality product, Ive heard that they have scientist that are cross breeding a whole generation of bait monkeys. They act like normal bait monkeys but when they see a Rapala section they go into a wild frenzy. Hope you havent got one of these, YOU MAY BE IN TROUBLE! 8)

i got a bunch they move almost like a super fluke in the water. and the have a better than normal rattle system.i was showing them to a couple of guys at work sold 3 out of my box 10 bucks each used-should be come a saleman.
