Guntersville September
I am going to Guntersville late September with a small group. 4 boats. Some of these guys have been before. I have never done the frog thing and am really looking forward to it. I read the Dean Rojas article in recent Bass magazine and it was very helpful. I have purchased a 7'6"' heavy All Star rod despecially for the trip. Braid purchased also.
But like all other fishing techniques there a hundred different frogs, colors etc. Any help on fishing Gville that time of year and fishing the frog greatly apprecaited. |

gbassman is correct. spro, yum and others are fine. as for colors, i have caught my DINKS (lol), on the bronze and yellow colors.spro brand.
also do not forget the spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, gbassman can tell oyu about using flutes (yes he is that good with them). other than that, rattle traps and of course the lizzards and bruch hawgs are good in the grasses and what i call the GATOR vines. 10 inch worms work good too. let me know when in sept and exactly where oyu will put in at and i'll TRY to see ya there. good luck to ya'll.
