The tiger tube sounds too big for my needs. The Pennsylvania bass are pressured.

JB,

Below are a MUST
1. Baby Paca Craws, in Greenpumpkin(what else LOL) or Greenpumpkin Candy
2. X-Rap(slowly sinks when leaving it suspended) Your Choice of color
3. Zoom 4" Dead Ringer Light Brown(actualy don't remember the exact name)

Now the Beaver's are good(keep your mind on fishing here ), but the Paca's have outfished them for me. All of these baits haved worked everywhere for me, but the Dead Ringers were great on the Ohio, t-rigged with 1/16 oz bullet.

There are many other things I would reccomend, but you just got the kids outa school, take the wife to a romantic get away I will say that all the new stuff can work, but refill whatever your old faithfuls are, they still do work ya know

Man someone finally mentioned the hottest bait I have tried in years!

BABY PACA CRAWS!!!!

Like lizards has said, beavers work good but I will out fish them using paca craws.

I put in a big tube rattle and use either megastrike or knb craw fish scent and just tear up the bass.

I throw the paca craw 99.9% of the time for all my nightfishing(and I night fish ALOT) and will out fish alot of good fisherman with me untill they finally talk me out of a bag!!

I buy bags of paca craws like a druggie would buy cocain.... alot!! Try them, you will not be disapointed.

The one thing I dont like about the paca craw is how easy the pinchers come off, however I can tell you that they work almost as well with one pincher as two.

tiger tubes are huge. paca craws-prefuring baby paca craws-in green pumkin, melonseed.any combination.candy or not.. out fished beavers 8 to one last spring on a local lake.

i second the x rap as close to a fluke action as i have ever seen in a jerkbait.

lunker sauce has a small section of sponge placed in the mouth of the bottle -kinda like shoe polish- the scent does not drip or run off the bait. and last for ever it seems.. highly recomend the crawdad not fond of the shad or garlic scents.. PU smell my finger -smells like gumbo to me..

JB, I don't know, everytime I threw something new last year it caught fish.Pretty good deal when I didn't have a clue to most of it having fished jigs most of the time before this last year.My favorite bait I failed to mention before is a handpoured 4" worm from California. It don't look like nothing great, but it worked well.P N J

JB, thank for posting a picture of those tiger tubes. I knew I could count on you. Anyway, for what it is worth, those tubes look way too big.

Had to think about that one a little-in no particular order:

Wave Worm Tiki Sticks
Paca Craw
Sweet Beaver
X-Rap
Lucky Craft Pointer

Watermelon Red Flake. Then again, that is my favorite color soft plastic period .

Another color I like is Mossy Mud-a 2-color bait with a pumpkinseed belly and a green pumpkin back.
