Eh its alright. Most of the stuff in these mags is all the same stuff over and over again. I don't waste my money on them anymore.

The magazines are a wealth of information to people new to the world of Bass fishing and can be an invaluable resource for them.

15 years ago when I first became very interested in Bass fishing with a club and doing small club tournaments, the Bassin and Bassmaster magazines were read from front to back and then from back to front AGAIN for many years.

Now after 15 years of experience, the magazines do seem to cover the same info over and over again to me, but that is just due to many years of reading the articles.

If a youngster wants some info that can really help them out, please suggest to them to get their hands on as many magazines as possible and go out and fish as much as possible to apply the tips and techniques discussed in the articles, they can do nothing but help inexperienced bassers.

I still have subscriptions to a couple of Bass magazines as once in a while I do read an article that I do learn something from. Maybe in another 20 years I'll be so good at Bass fishing I won't need the magazines any more , but for now, I'll keep reading them.

You are right-a lot of the info is stuff those of us who have been fishing for a while already know, but I usually learn something every time I read one-Bassin' and Bassmaster are my two favorites.

I never have enough money to get a subscription to any mag, I spend it all on tackle before I think of ordering one... seriously. ;D OH well, most of the stuff is recycled knowledge, I think I can do just fine without a subscription.

If you are starting out then they are must reads but since i have read thousands and have fished so long it seems like I have already heard everything. I do learn a few things though and by reading them it keeps you up to date on new products. ;D

lol,,i get it to remind me..same as bassmaster..i seem to get stuck and i'll read something that i already knew but put on a back burner somewhere.

I wish I could put tiny clothes on all of the bass I catch and take pictures of them. I would make a Bass school and teach them how to read and write. Then I would take them to church.

The best bait--- ZOOM Super Salty 6 inch Lizard in Junebug, catches real nice bass!!!

Â* Â* Zoom Watermelon/Chartreuse or Berkley Blue Fleck both work good too, depending on water color.
Â* Â* Try dipping about an inch of the junebug lizards tail in garlic scented chartreuse "Dip-It", it will give it a little glow and scent which seems to help.
