Default dropshotting crawbaits

If you were to use a plastic craw to dropshot with, how would it be hooked through the tail, through the body , or the head??

Default drop shotting crawbaits

I haven't dropshoted an actual crawfish bait , but I do dropshot with smallie beavers and they work great . I texas rig them with a #2 owner hook , making it weedless .

I would hook it through the tail end so the pinchers are away from the line...with drags/little hops.

I would hook it through the tail as well because it would be more like a creawfish trying to escape. More natural I guess
