Haha....the answer is.....
The water level in the pool will go down when you toss the bowling ball in. Now, can anyone tell me why?

Less weight in the boat makes the boat float higher and displace less water, so the level in the pool falls as the boat rises.
Cool John boat mod by the way.....lol

When the bowling ball is inside the boat, it is displacing (via the boat hull) its mass in water.
When the ball is thrown into the pool and sinks, it is now displacing its own volume of water. Since the ball is denser than water, its volume is less than the same mass of water it had previously displaced. Hence, the water level in the pool will fall. Okay...I'm done hijacking the thread.

We only use a trolling motor on the boat also so no issues there anyhow.. The back deck does have a door on it that faces the front of the boat. The front deck doesn't have any. We spaced out from the livewell to the back deck to have the perfect room for our coolers so plenty of room for everything.
