Default Jigs

Looking to restock some jigs for this year. Man, there are more lure companies out there than I have the patience to look at. I'd like some suggestions to help narrow down my choices.

Looking for football and flippin jigs. I already have plenty grass and casting jigs. I prefer a horizontal eyelet on these type heads. Anyway, let me know what you think!

Pj's Finesse baits. It has horizontal eyelet and better yet the hook is Gamakatsu. Steve Kennedy won twice at KY lake using them. I used it last year with good results.

For football jigs, I'd have to recommend a couple great custom lure companies I know.

First off, mine. (cabinfeverlures.com)

Or Kory's (Carolina-rog-01). his site in thunderstruckjigs.com

Yep, I'll be ordering some Cabin Fevers and Thunderstrucks. But all I see are Football heads. And they look nice.

I don't mind that type of hook eye on a grass or casting jig, but I won't use them for flipping. Must have a horizontal hook eye, preferably 60 degree. Too much chance for the line to slip when you set the hook.

Jigs are my confidence lure , use them almost exclusively ( I need to learn more baits ! ) and I have never had any issue with these jigs. I especially like the perfectly matched craw trailers. I am waiting for thunderstruck to get this flipping jig finished. He only sells football jigs , thats why you only see them...

8 bucks each is hard to swallow! So you know, Megastrike jig was the first jig I caught my fish with. Looks like they don't make what I had anymore, line through the head if you know what I'm talking about? Good jig!

You should pay more attention, 6.99 for 2 thats 3.50 a piece. If you order from e-bay you can get em at 2.00 a piece. Mabye a little higher than what your paying now but not much. The quality of the jigs is really good, and imo the floro weedguard makes this jig look like no other while in the water.

The e2 series has the line that goes thru the head.
