Question Down Imaging Help

I already have a Humminbird 385ci combo unit mounted at the console but I feel a need for a graph on the bow where I do most of my fishing. Is it possible to have a second graph hookup on the same transducer? If not, I most likely will try to find a down imaging unit that I can run off a transducer on the MinnKota trolling motor. I don't really need the GPS function as I already have that on the 385. What do you recommend for DI at a reasonable cost?

I don't believe Hummingbird has an interlink cable for 2 units. Lowrance does. I have a Lowrance Mark 5 DSI on the front of my boat. For a reasonable priced unit it works well. I didn't feel I needed or wanted side imaging at the bow so I went with this unit because I did want down imaging.

Bama, as far as I know, all SI units are capable of DI, but there are many units that are only DI capable.

Humminbird has the ability to interlink many of their products, just go to their site and search for interlink.
Here is the link.

Default also has

Incompatability to link in some models like sc2i,between them selves or any other bird so not all models link(read fine print)
I like to read whats under the front with the troller mounted one and whats at rear with the transom mounted one 20 ft depth difference here at times,in the length of a boat.Several places have 45 ft difference.Other than transfer of waypoints which one can do with a computer and a chip see little use for linking.
Own two and no they wouldnt link if I bought the expensive cable and switch.755c and 785sc2i

Default re: Interlink

The bird interlink only works on the 700 series on up to the 1100 series. I think I may end up with a Mark 5x DSI at the bow but am concerned about interference from the MinnKota PV2.
