Default reset oil and temp gauge

Hi everybody , new guy here. have a ? about a 97 charger boat with a 150 suzuki super six motor, its a 2 stroke . the oil level and heat gauge came on and the bells a whistles went off, did not know how to reset gauge after problem was fixed seems to me it should be fairly simple but the mech charged me $225.00 and gave me the run around when i asked him what he did. thanks Snake...........

welocme ot the best site on the web buddy. although i can't answer your question, someone here can. be patient and you'll get oyur answer. and lol, find another mechanic. any mechanic that won't help you learn about your motor just wants to use up your wallet. i wouldn't trust him again.
