oh and ever, my parents are the sit inside and study asian types. they think fishing and nature is a waste of time. theyd rather have me go sunfishing, since its quicker. but hey, i hafta work with what i got

I also wish that I had the enthusiam that you do when I was that age. I fished a lot when I was pretty young and then stopped at about age 13 due to circumstances with my parents separating. Now19 years later, I started fishing a lot again about a year ago.
Something that I have noticed with myself is that fishing is healthy for me and keeps me out of trouble. Now I drink all of the time except I never do when fishing on the water. I really think that if I had stuck with it I would have avoided a lot of the less constructive ways to spend my time. Also with all of the places that I have traveled I think of all of the fun that I missed by not fishing.
Just stick with it, keep the rod for a friend or a backup, and have fun!

Hey JB, when you gonna publish that book of yours, lol.
How do you function this ignore button, I would like to stay with you guys.

Also Cranky, you were put under the penalty box in NJBA. Which means you could only post in your own topics, and if you screwed up one more time action would have been taken. You pissed off alot of people it seems like.

Please someone tell me how to use the ingnore button

so what are your REAL feelings on an Ugly Stick Man you can't buy this kind of entertainment..This kid reminds me of that kid flamez..remember him?that was one know it all PITA..Cranky..take the advice these fellas give. They have probably forgotten more about fishing than you will ever know.No one is trying to steer you wrong.
BTW the ugly stick is a great pier and saltwater rod, also good for catfish.Sucks for bass though..
