Default Weekly Lake Fork Fishing Report

Well, the fishing has been on and off this past week. With this I mean the top water bite has not been strong and the other baits are not being consistent. You can catch about 15 fish a day but they will range small to medium with a good fish mixed in. The baits are ranging from Texas rigs , weightless baits, lipless crank baits, and small crank baits. There are a few fish deep but are hard to catch. The water temp is around 73 in most areas of the lake. Everyday is a new start and what worked yesterday and where will be different tomorrow. The weather has this spring really mixed up. I found a new wave of fish on beds in a small pocket today and we caught 6 or 7 of them. They were not locked but with a little pitching we were able to get them in the boat. The weather will settle soon and the spawn will be over and the more consistent bit will take off. I still have some open dates at the end of May if you are interested Please give a call.
