Default Loop knots?

Who uses them?

For which application?

What knot(s) do you use?

Why do you think they're superior to, say, a Palomar knot?

I tie one on most of my topwater poppers. Don't know the name of it but you tie an overhand knot and pass the tag end through the eye. If you find one that starts out that way then it's probably the one I use. I've never broken one, yet, on a hook set or a fish. But then I use 17lb mono on my poppers.
