Default found a helpful tip

i read in a bassfishing magazine today if you want your wacky bait to sink
use a finishing nail will help it sink.. you might or not might know know that tip

You can also use a wire hanger. Cut it into small pieces and insert them into the worm or whatever lure you are using.

i use the bps extreme weights that are made for doing that. there soft do you can bend them or even break them in your hand so it makes setting it up a lil easier

I use lead string made for ocean fishing. You can cut it at any length and it has a good amount of weight for a little bit. It is very bendable. So you can stuff it in or wrap it around the hook.
