ran out of bait he took off one mother of pearl button from his shirt
ran his line through the holes and used a gold needle 8in up the line
and used a bobber and was catching fish... he read it in a fishing
magazine awhile back.. he has 10 of those mother of pearl buttons
he wants me to use one while i'm at his house

maybe using a hook becuase it might resemble a salmon egg or any other fish egg which some fishermen that fish other than bass use and with great catches.

I dont doubt it I would love to try I just don't believe the needle part as a hook.

If its a strong enough needle it might work. Just have to keep pressure on it but not to much pressure.......... My grandmother once caught a catfish on a button off of her jacket in a pond once so I dont doubt it lol.........

I can tell you it won't be the best bait out there to fish, but somedays you could catch a fish with an old sneeker.

Default Rapal Baits

Mr Rapala was setting on the bank at his farm pond with his fishing pole anchered to the ground, and as he was passing the time, he picked up a small stick pulled his pocket knife from his pocket and began to whitle on the stick. He was having no luck with the fish bighting as he was whiteling down the stick to a shinny piece of wood. He pulled his line in and began to walk away. And as he was leaving the pond, he tossed the shinny stick into the pond and to his surprise, a large mouth bass broke the water and ate the stick. And as a result, the Rapala Bate Co. came into existence. Believe it or not. It is a fact.

I don't doubt it. It was, I believe, James Heddon, while eating lunch in a boat on a pond accidently dropped a spoon over the side only to see a bass smack it as it fluttered to the bottom. Guess what lure was born ? He then went on to found Heddon lures.

Ha! Wouldnt doubt it lol......... I made a lure I call the wooly Booger. It has the skirts of 2 tubes burnt on a 7.5 inch u-tail worm. It has a tail kind of like a brush hog but it has a 4in. senko burnt going out the sides giving it kind of a twirling motion. have yet to try it but will next time I get out on the water. I have way to much time on my hands lol..........

Are you sure it wasn't that Johnson fellow who invented the silver spoon? After all, they are called a Johnson Silver Minnow for a reason. I'm pretty sure Heddon got his lure company started when he Invented the Zara Spook that he carved from a broom handle.

Default Grand Son Wacky

A kid was sitting in the boat with his Grand Pa playing whith the bait bucket. The boy started eating a worm. Grand Pa thought the kid was a little wacky. and said if my Grand son eats them that way, then I will fish them that way. You guessed it. "The Wacky worm." So it has been around for years

Default kh (No fun intended)

There was a kid named KH. Who played in the sand box when he was eight. He was a good boy, but he had few toys. So he stayed out and fished until late. He caught a big bass. But his Grand Pa said he had to put it back at last. KH wasn't selffish, so he released his fish. And that is how the term Catch and release came into effect. If you try, you can make this rhyme.
