i don't use octopus hooks.but i'll tell you what dude.jason is the owner of hookerz and a great guy.his hooks are top quality and less exspensive than most.try them out and you won't be dissapointed.i use ewg and ewg flippin hooks.the flippin hooks are a must with braid!!!i also use his tubehead jigs.

i also like tossing a buzzer i like most techniques and baits my fav is usally whats working that day

What ever the fish are hitting tends to be high on my list but all in all my favorite way to fish has to be jigs and pigs or plastics wored through the thickest chit I can find. Nothing like those THUMPS and the fun of trying to get that bass outta there before he hangs you up. As far as visual there is nothing better to me than a bass blowing up on a scumfrog. Seeing that bass rushing through the weeds and duckweed and knwing that he is watching your frog IS GREAT/

3/8 oz. spinnerbait in white or chart./white, preferrably a Terminator, slow-rolled, burned, stop n go, whatever. One of the most versatile baits there is, IMHO.
