not catching
what do yall suggest or do when u see fish jumping u and u sit there and fish and u dont catch anything

Welcome to the forum!
There are a couple things to try. The obvious is a topwater. They are chasing something on the surface, so that might do the trick. Another thing to try is a lipless crankbait like a Rat-L-Trap. The fish may be chasing shad, and burning a trap just below the surface can generate a good strike. |

Put the rod away and go golfing! ;D No, seriously though, Rebbasser offers some really good advice. In addition, you could skip a superfluke across the surface (right where the action is occuring) then let it float down. Â*This will give the impression of a baitfish being chased, and then look like an injured fish and easy prey as it floats downward. Another idea is to down size (if the lipless crank doesn't work) by throwing an inline spinner through the area where the jumps are occuring. Sometimes though, nothing seems to work and I am scratching my head too! |
