Does St Croix still make the all glass rods.. ???
I have a St Croix 7 footer med crank rod and use it primarly for vertical jigging deep water sea trout and grays. It has the backbone to handle a 42 inch striper and yet is soft enough for a 15 inch trout not to rip his mouth off. If I where to add one to my arsenal it would be an 8 footer. Capt Mike

I'd go with the crucial or the lowrider.

Have you had a chance to look at the new Quantum tour KVD rods? I've only seen them at BPS & Tackle Warehouse but they run right at $149.
